Business Immigration

What is Business Immigration to Canada?

Business Immigration to Canada is predominantly a provincial subject. Canda is a business friendly country and is always striving to be one of the best destinations for Business Immigration. However, IRCC collaborates with provinces in designing the business immigration programs based on their unique socio-economic conditions. The client has to express interest in the province of their choice before launching an application for the work permit followed with the establishment of the business in that province. Province then nominates the applicant for permanent residence. This is when the applicant can submit the application for permanent residence to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals can apply for Canadian permanent residence under the Canada Business Immigration Program. They are, however, expected to establish or invest in a business substantially in Canada that benefits the Canadian economy and citizens.
